2021 Covid Policy Statement
We have put the following policy in pace with consultation from local authorities to protect all committee members, volunteers as well as the local community. If you are joining us this very special event, please make sure you follow the guidelines to keep yourself and others safe.
Lateral Flow Testing
To keep the organising committee, volunteers and show visitors safe we are asking all committee members and volunteers to provide a negative lateral flow test before joining us onsite for the show or set up.
The wearing of masks at the show (including outdoors) is recommended for all committee members, volunteers, participants and visitors. The wearing of masks is compulsory for all when inside (visiting the bar and toilets).
Hand sanitisation stations will be available and maintained by the committee, around the show site. As a rule there will be at least one hand sanitising station:
- at each location entrance/exit
- at each queue
- outside toilets
- at each attraction run by the committee/volunteers
High touch activities
For those activities that require visitors to handle equipment we will operate a quarantine and cleaning process. All handled items will be placed into a "quarantine area" where they will then be cleaned and moved to the "ready area". Please follow instructions from the committee member of volunteer running the activities.
We will ensure that that are signs and reminders to stay socially distanced to remain in family/small groups. There will be one-way systems in place to:
- queue for activities
- order and collect food from all food stations
- queue for toilets
- enter/exit locations with smaller entrances
What to do if you feel unwell
Please make your way home as quickly as possible and follow government guidelines for testing and reporting.
Thank you for helping us to run this much needed show safely!
