Road Safety during the Show
To keep everyone safe as they move around the village, please note that there will be the following road access changes over the weekend (from 7am on Sat 29th June to the end of Sun 30th June) and as per the map below.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) has been approved by Wokingham Borough Council - viewable at one.network
- Closure of School Road (access to residents permitted)
and a northbound one-way section system on Church Hill
(from the car park to the Orchard Road junction).
- Access along Church Hill is advised for show parking
and access to
The Castle Inn
and
Hurst Bowling Club.
There will be no southbound access along Church Hill
(from the Orchard Road junction).
- A northbound diversion route will continue
along Lodge Road to Whistley Green and Broadwater Lane.
- The southbound diversion will go along Orchard Road and Sawpit Road on to Lodge Road.
